Hello "Don't Stop It" )-:
Frankly, I am baffled by your assertion. It does not seem to be based on an adequate understanding of U.S. history or U.S. jurisprudence. Our founding fathers, back in 1776, pledged their lives, and many gave their lives, to create a new nation, based in liberty and justice for all. And, in the 230 years since 1776, many American soldiers have also offered up their lives in order to assure the perpetuation of our sacred American values. We dishonor these dead by allowing for the creation and continuation of legislation which desecrates the sacred American values for which these patriotic soldiers fought and died! The sacred American values begin with the truths that "all men are created equal and are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights" as per the U.S. Declaration of Independence (1776). Moreover, the U.S. Constitution goes on to explicate, in some detail, what these unalienable rights are and sets up our three major branches of government in order to guarantee and safeguard these rights. If you had actually read the Patriot Act, you would know the various ways in which this Act impunes our sacred American values as elucidated in the U.S. Constitution and Declaration of Independence (neither of which, I surmise, you've read either). The fact is that Dictator George W. Bush has approximately 20,000 people locked up in secret prisons under a system that the U.S. Supreme Court recently ruled to be illegal as per both the U.S. Constitution and the Geneva Convention. Bush has violated FISA (the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) by spying on Americans without a warrant. Half of American now correctly believe that George W. Bush was complicitous in the attack on the World Trade Towers. And Bush used 9/11, combined with lies to Congress about alleged links of the Iraqi government to terrorism, in order to send our military over there with the ulterior motive of pursuing his oil interests. Any intelligent person knows the truth of which I speak! Moreover, George W. Bush is indeed Satan! Moreover, the Patriot Act is yet another abomination from Satan who seeks thereby to desecrate our sacred values, the sacred values necessary to a true democracy, and the sacred values for which patriotic soldiers have offered up their lives since 1776. I hope that this helps to clarify the truth. I hope that we do honor the dead, that we honor the patriotic American soldiers who have offered their lives in defense of those sacred values which protect our freedom; furthermore, the only way to do this is to dispense with the Patriot Act and surplant it with legislation which is in line with the sacred values necessary to a true democracy. |

Are the deaths in vain? Of course they are in vain. Fifty thousand Americans died in Vietnam -- those deaths, too, were in vain. The idea that a stupid and illegal war should be continued -- i.e., that more people should be slaughtered -- simply because some have already been slaughtered, is an idiotic position. It's like going to Vegas, gambling away your life savings, and then deciding to take out a mortgage on your home to gamble some more because you don't want your life savings to have been frittered away "in vain." Of course Americans have died in vain! That's the point, imbecile -- no more should die in vain. No more at all. Bush lied to the American people and to Congress in stating that he had absolute, unimpeachable proof of weapons of mass destruction. THERE WERE NO WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION IN IRAQ. He has destablized the entire region, overthrown a secular government that, bad as it was, at least provided a bulwark against Islamic fundamentalism, and has otherwise proven himself an idiot. If it bothers you that soldiers might die in vain, you ought to acknowledge reality and work to make damned sure no more die in vain, because that's exactly what will happen if this insane war continues another day. How many have to die "in vain" before reactionaries and jingoists like you wake up to the fact that the war should never have been launched in the first place? |

We dishonor these dead by allowing for the creation and continuation of legislation which desecrates the sacred American values for which these patriotic soldiers fought and died! I would add that the very fact that the U.S. Constitution can be rendered null and void by something as pernicious as the so-called "Patriot Act" is cause de guerre, and that the time has come, alas, to emulate the Founding Fathers not just in word, but also in deed. The despotic acts committed by George III, as catalogued in the Declaration of Independence, were regarded then as a sufficient reason to take up arms against the British Crown. As a matter of fact, a careful reading of the Declaration will show you that when governments become despotic, it is not only the right, but the duty of free men to alter or abolish it. The time for talk has expired. A tyrant struts among us. George W. Bush is a war criminal who belongs in a cell in The Hague. His entire government is an affront to human liberty. Anyone who is not prepared today to shoot, and to shoot to kill in order to defend his liberty, is doomed to servitude. |

The statists within our government want to have control of every individual. They believe that they are our masters and We the People exist for their convenience. The heads of the major multi-national corporations and the international bankers which control our government are all globalists and fascists (statists). In reality, We the People are the masters of our government, and the PRIMARY PURPOSE for government's existence is to protect and defend the rights of the individual. Under a statist system individuals have little or no rights.
High-tech electronic non-lethal directed energy weapons (also known as weapons of political control) are being abused to experiment on private citizens without their knowledge or consent both here in America and around the world. Some people, such as some corporate and government whistleblowers, and some human rights activists, are even singled out for a campaign of organized stalking/harassment with this technology. But you don't have to be a part of either group to become targeted yourself. There is a brand new meetup group starting up dealing with this issue. It is in Phoenix, AZ, and is open to anyone in the Phoenix area who is interested in peaceful activism to expose this atrocity to the general public. The meetup's site is at: Phoenix Stop Organized Stalking/Harassment Meetup. In Freedom and Liberty, Von Kidd |
