Come Rally and Storm the Capitol with:
and other groups at the Colorado State Capitol on Thursday, January 31 @ Noon, just before the Blue Ribbon Commission for Health Care Reform presents to our legislators. Before the Rally: Meet at Central Presbyterian Church @ 10 a.m. (1660 Sherman, a block north of the Capitol Building) To share your story for YouTube, make signs, network and get information on single-payer health care - endorsed by the Colorado League of Women Voters, the Colorado Nurses Association, The Rocky Mountain Farmers Union, The Colorado Education Association and many others... We'll march to the Colorado Capitol (@ Colfax & Sherman) at 11:30 a.m. and rally at noon on the West Steps. After the Rally: Immediately following the rally, you'll have the chance to take the message for real, sustainable, comprehensive health care reform, as embodied in the Colorado Health Services single-payer plan, to your legislator's office. COME CREATE CHANGE!!! For ALL DENNIS KUCINICH SUPPORTERS - Dennis is the only Presidential Candidate with a federal Bill for a Single-Payer NOT-FOR-PROFIT Health care reform. We plan to show support on the State as well as the Federal Level. Bring your signs! Create banners posters, etc... Meet up between 10:30 & 11 a.m at the Presbyterian Church. If you need materials such as signs etc... there will be extras, but please show up early as we can make some more before the march also. I can't emphasize this enough - THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!! There is a mandate called the 208 commission that if passed will make Health Insurance similar to car insurance. This means it will be ILLEGAL not to have health insurance. And for those who can't afford it already, there will be steep fines with noncompliance. Come to the Rally to learn more and how you can help to stop this action. Tell your family, friends, peers, and neighbors the time for action is now. This can't wait for someone else to take care of it. WE need ALL the SUPPORT WE CAN GET!!! IT WILL EFFECT YOU!!!
